The promise: If we miss our 24-hour SLA or the government portal rejects your filing due to our error, you get a 100% refund. Processed in 5 working days. No forms, no arguments — just a WhatsApp or email is enough to trigger it.

1. When you get a full refund

You are entitled to a full 100% refund of the fee paid in any of the following situations:

We miss the 24-hour SLA

If your Udyam filing is not completed within 24 hours of receiving your complete, accurate details.

Government portal rejection (our error)

If the Udyam portal rejects your application because of a typo, wrong entry, or processing error made by us.

We can't complete the filing

If we determine that we are unable to complete the filing (e.g. technical issues on our end, no reachable team).

Duplicate payment

If you were charged twice for the same application due to a payment gateway or technical error.

2. When a refund is NOT available

The following situations do not qualify for a refund, as the fee covers work already performed or issues outside our control:

Wrong information supplied

You gave us the wrong Aadhaar, PAN, mobile, or Udyam number and the filing was rejected as a result.

Aadhaar-mobile mismatch

Your Aadhaar was not linked to a working mobile number, so OTP could not be completed. We'll guide you to fix this before re-filing.

Government portal outage

The udyamregistration.gov.in portal is down or malfunctioning. We will retry when it's back up, but this is outside our control.

Change of mind after filing

Once we've submitted your filing to the portal, work is complete. Change-of-mind refunds cannot be processed.

Failure to respond to us

If we cannot reach you (unresponsive to calls/WhatsApp for 48 hours) and cannot proceed, we treat the application as completed under service.

Third-party benefits denied

If a bank denies your loan or a government scheme denies your subsidy despite valid registration, we cannot refund — those decisions are made by third parties.

3. How refunds are processed

The refund process

  1. Step 1 — Email us at refunds@udyamregistration.webthropic.com or WhatsApp +91 98765 43210 with your reference ID (starts with UDR).
  2. Step 2 — We verify eligibility within 1 working day and confirm approval.
  3. Step 3 — Refund is initiated to your original payment method (same card / same UPI / same bank account).
  4. Step 4 — Amount credited within 5 working days for most payment methods; up to 10 working days for international cards.

4. Partial refunds

In rare cases, we may offer a 50% partial refund where fault is shared — for example, a portal rejection where both our data entry and your supplied information contributed to the error. This is at our discretion and always communicated transparently with reasons.

5. Refund method

Refunds are always issued to the original payment source:

We do not offer refunds to a different account, in cash, or as service credits.

6. Refund timeline transparency

Timelines are indicative and depend on the payment aggregator (PayU) and issuing bank. Once we initiate a refund from our end, the money is out of our control and follows the standard banking rails.

If a refund has not reached you within 10 working days of our initiation confirmation, please contact us with the refund reference we shared, and we will follow up with PayU on your behalf.

7. Disputes & chargebacks

We prefer resolving refund requests directly and quickly — it's cheaper for both of us than a payment-gateway chargeback. Before initiating a chargeback with your bank, please email us; we typically respond within a few hours.

If you initiate a chargeback for a transaction where our service was legitimately delivered, we reserve the right to contest it with evidence (form submission, government portal acknowledgement, delivered certificate).

8. Government-affiliation reminder

Important: Our fee is a professional service charge, not a government fee. The government does not charge for Udyam registration or updates. If you paid us and then realised you could have done it yourself for free, we understand — but this is not by itself a valid reason for refund. Please see our Terms & Service section for the full context.

9. Contact for refund requests

This policy is designed to be fair. If you feel your case doesn't fit neatly into any category above but you believe a refund is warranted, get in touch. We prefer talking it out over losing your trust.
